This site is the home of Digital Arcana Photography and photographer Kris Northrup.
I have been behind a camera since I was twelve years old and have followed my passion for photography for more than twenty years. My main photographic interests involve nature and macro photography, but I am interested in and available for a wide variety of assignments.
A Nikon photographer since the beginning, I currently shoot a 12 megapixel D2Xs. I am of the opinion that, while more megapixels are certainly nice, there is no substitute for the color you get from Nikon Digital. At some point, all you really get from higher pixel counts are bigger files.
